Dear Lincoln Middle School Families,

It is with heartfelt excitement that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! My name is Dr. Myeshia Whigham, and I am honored to serve as the new Principal of Lincoln Middle School. I’m thrilled to be joining this amazing school community and can’t wait to meet our students and families.

From the moment I stepped on campus, I felt the energy, pride, and potential that make Lincoln such a special place. As a longtime educator and proud parent myself, I understand the importance of creating a school environment where students feel safe, connected, and inspired to learn each day. I am committed to being a visible, supportive, and positive presence on campus and to working alongside you to ensure your child’s success.

My career spans over two decades in education, including roles as a teacher, site leader, and district administrator focused on equity and student support. What drives me most is building relationships and creating spaces where every student feels valued and every family feels welcomed.

This year, my focus is on Presence, Partnership, and Purpose. I look forward to working with our staff, families, and community to create a strong foundation for learning and a joyful school experience for every student. I believe in open communication, teamwork, and celebrating both growth and achievement, big and small.
