Administration
Mr. Cesar Mora
Dear Panther Families,
My name is Cesar Mora and I am the proud Principal of Lincoln Middle School. I started my teaching career at Lincoln Middle School in 1996 and after so many years, I have the great privilege to serve you as your Principal. Our teachers, staff and administrative team are committed to helping you achieve high levels of learning and have a genuine sense of belonging in our school community. Our Panther Family takes pride in academic and social experiences that challenge every student to grow past their potential. We know that the knowledge and skills you learn here are essential in preparing you for your life as an adult. We are here to support and do everything we can to help you succeed. We also believe in building character development and believe in our commitment to Lincoln’s PRIDE Character Values which include; Present, Responsible, Integrity, Disciplined and Engaged.
At the same time, we expect you to help yourself and become a responsible and independent learner. Attend school every day. Be on time for class. Do all of your assignments. Attend after-school tutoring for extra help. Get involved with our after-school activities and sports. Respect each other, the school's rules and the authority of the adults entrusted to take care of you. If you have a problem, no matter what it is, we want you to ask us for help. We will help you.
We are committed to ensuring your time at Lincoln Middle School is filled with success. We take great pride in our students. We also would like our parents to be part of our student’s educational journey. Consider becoming a bigger part of the Panther Family by joining our Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO). We implore you to not only be involved with our school, but to become an extension of it because education is an all-inclusive effort. We are excited to have you here and look forward to making you proud to be a Lincoln Panther. I look forward to working with you and your child. Thank you for your support. Together, we will develop young scholars who are prepared for success at each and every level beyond middle school.
Alicia Johal, Assistant Principal
Hello Panther families,
My name is Alicia Johal and I am thrilled to be at Lincoln Middle School this year, as your Assistant Principal! I started my career in education in 2012 as a student teacher, here at Lincoln Middle School, and am honored to rejoin the Panther Family. I also feel very lucky to have attended both middle and high school, here in Oceanside Unified School District - and to call Oceanside "home".
I bring with me a background in teaching leadership, curriculum development, and a passion for student voice and community engagement. My previous roles include being a middle and high school science teacher, curriculum specialist, new teacher induction mentor, district robotics coordinator, assistant director of innovation, dean, and adjunct professor.
I am dedicated to working closely with Lincoln Middle School's students and families to ensure each student thrives here at school. Middle school is an exciting time in a young person's life and I hope you walk onto campus knowing how happy we are that you are here, and that we will all be here to support you. The Lincoln teachers, staff and administrative team believe in you and your success. How can you be successful? Be engaged, get involved with activities that interest you, care for each other, and ask for help when you need it!
Our partnership will allow us to have an enriching and meaningful 2024-25 school year. I look forward to collaborating with you, celebrating you and witnessing all you will accomplish this year in middle school!
